Licence-Controlled Goods Are Bought Through Our UK Website
Some of our products are subject to UK export controls. These items can’t be bought through our Optics Warehouse EU store. They are shown on the EU site with a link that takes you to our UK website, where we ship them under our export licence.
We are able to export the following classes of goods under licence:

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Order through our UK website. Due to export licensing, we are unable to supply thermal and night vision units directly via our Optics Warehouse EU store.
If you wish to purchase such a unit, you can order your optic via our UK website at www.opticswarehouse.co.uk or by clicking the redirect link on the product page.
This allows your government to allocate the correct tax/duties and speeds up the process.
2. Download, print and sign the Consignee Undertaking form
Sign and date the consignee undertaking form, then either scan it and email to [email protected] or post it to:

3. Once we have both copies of the Consignee Undertaking, we’ll ship your order to the address provided.
The speed of delivery depends on how quickly the form is returned.
BEFORE YOU BUY
It is your responsibility to make sure that buying, importing, owning and using these goods is legal in your country. Some countries restrict or prohibit them.
We may refuse or cancel any order where we can’t meet our export licence conditions or where we believe the purchase would be unlawful. We will refund you in full promptly.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS FOR LICENCE-CONTROLLED GOODS
You keep your usual consumer rights, including the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods. Because these items are sent directly from the UK and not from our Irish warehouse, we can’t provide a prepaid returns label. Please contact us before sending anything back, so we can tell you what export and customs paperwork is needed.
If you change your mind: you arrange and pay for the return, including any export or customs formalities.
If the item is faulty, damaged or not as ordered: we will arrange the return or reimburse the cost of sending it back.
EXPORT LICENCE BREAKDOWN
– CAT 1: Optical Weapon Sights with electronic image processing.
These items include Digital Night Vision Scopes, Thermal Weapon Sights and Rifle Scopes with certain electronic and digital features.
– CAT 2: Optical Weapon Sights specifically designed for Military use.
These items include Rifle Scopes that were built to MIL standard specifications and were designed upon manufacture solely for Military purposes.
