Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 640x480 17µm <25mK NETD Multispectral Thermal & 4K Colour Daytime Rifle Scope

A worlds first.. The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 comes equipped with a powerful European made 640x480 <25mK 17um sensor ensuring as much information is received by the Thermion Duo's core to provide an image quality that is unbeatable in all conditions including low contrast environments where you need the best performance most; yet it gets better, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 also provides the shooter with a 3840x2160 4K CMOS day sensor what will give crystal clear daytime observation capabilities, with a full-colour HD image. The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 is really opening a new account in the history of Pulsar hunting optics.

The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 is the first commercial riflescope to combine the effectiveness of thermal imaging detection at any time of day with the comfort of full-colour daytime observation. With the synergy that comes from the integration of different technologies, observation with thePulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 brings enhanced high-information content.

The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 combines the detection capabilities of thermal imaging with the capabilities of full-colour day optics in one intuitive new multispectral riflescope, this will help remove an indecision in indentification when out hunting in day time environments.

The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 has been designed to enhance the hunting experience and allowing users to gain greater levels of information when observing targets at range. This level of information is further enhanced through a field of view that remains the same regardless of which optical channel the rifle is set to, and the removal of any need to refocus the scope as users switch between the two modes.  Ambidextrous focusing knobs found to either side of the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 housing have been added to ensure quick and easy focusing whilst remaining comfortable to operate. Fin levers can be found on these focusing knobs, allowing users to quickly and easily make micro-adjustments whilst out in the field.

Based on solutions and components found within Pulsar’s flagship Thermion 2 XP50 Pro thermal imaging riflescope, the Thermion Duo DXP50 features a seamlessly integrated day optics housing located on top of the riflescope that contains a full-colour 4K optical channel for high-definition daytime observation. The housing of the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 remains low-profile, allowing this new multispectral riflescope to retain the familiar aesthetics of a classic daytime riflescope, mounting using 30mm scope rings and ensuring it never looks out of place on a rifle.

Like all the Pro Thermion models the new Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 is no different, featuring a European-made 640x480, 17µm <25mK NETD Lynred thermal sensor, combined with a powerful, fast aperture 50mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 will ensure an impressive thermal detection range of up to 1800m and a  12.4° field of view — working perfectly creating a crystal clear thermal image in adverse conditions such as heavy rain, dense fog, or environments in which thermal contrast is low. Its 3840x2160 4K CMOS sensor provides crystal clear daytime observation capabilities, with a full-colour HD image and accurate daytime colour rendering. The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 comes equipped with advanced image processing algorithms and Pulsar’s smoothing filter will ensure this picture always remains as clear as possible and reduces eye strain and fatigue over long periods of observation.

2. What is the thermal sensor resolution?
It uses a 640×480 thermal sensor with a 17µm pixel pitch.

3. How sensitive is it in tough conditions?
It has a NETD rating of under 25mK, which helps it pick up very small temperature differences for clearer imaging in rain, fog, and low contrast.

4. What is the daytime camera resolution?
The digital channel uses a 4K (3840×2160) CMOS sensor for full-colour daylight viewing.

5. What magnification does it offer?
It provides 2–16x magnification for both thermal and digital channels.

6. Does it have a good detection range?
Yes, it can detect thermal targets up to around 1800m depending on conditions.

7. Can it record video and photos?
Yes, it has built-in photo and video recording with audio and internal storage.

8. Is it weatherproof?
Yes, it’s IPX7 rated, meaning it can handle heavy rain and harsh outdoor environments.

9. Does it connect to apps or Wi-Fi?
Yes, it supports Wi-Fi connectivity and works with Pulsar’s Stream Vision 2 app for control and sharing.

10. What’s the main advantage over standard Thermion scopes?
The big difference is versatility—you get thermal detection plus true colour 4K daytime identification in one optic, rather than relying on thermal alone.
